Robert 24 (think Aussi Woody Allen) goes upriver with Morgan 40 (think Crocodile Dundee) into wild New Guinea Bush on a quest to find and retrieve  Robert's father's body -  modern 'road' movie with an Aussi twist.

SYNOPSIS:

Robert now twenty five, was orphaned early - his father disappeared in the jungle of New Guinea when he was five, and at eight his mother died of cancer. He lives with a coercive aged grandfather and works as a death claims clerk in an insurance company.

Amongst other neuroses, he has developed an unreasonable fear of sudden, violent death.

Out of the blue, his father's body is found and his grandfather forces him to go to New Guinea to retrieve it. Shockingly, Robert finds that the body is held by a clan of native bushmen way up the Sepik river. He has no option but to face his worst fears and find a guide to take him.

Morgan a retired Sergeant Major and Vietnam veteran reluctantly accepts the job and together, this unlikely duo undertake the dangerous journey.

Finding the clan, Complications ensue when Robert is confronted with a younger sister,for whom he is now made responsible by Kapso her grandfather.

After meeting his long-dead, mummified Dad, Robert must negotiate his return, and, together with his sister and Morgan, tackle the deadly journey down a now flood-swollen Sepik, infested with hungry crocodiles.

Robert must overcome his worst nightmare to succeed and grow.
