Since our launch in September of 2011, the community has grown to 250,000+ members strong representing every country on the planet making Stage 32 the social network uniquely populated with the most creative people on Earth. This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members pay it forward and invite at least 5 fellow creatives and to spread the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. You can also invite fellow creatives through the site by using the "Send Stage 32 Invites..." button on the upper right side of your profile. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities. Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I actually just offered up my own experience living in the cross-section between showbusiness and medical trauma to Stage 32 in an article called "Reality Checks from an Inspirational Cripple". In my case, my medical issues started when I was whacked in the head with a sword on a set. If you're interested, here's the link: https://www.stage32.com/blog/Reality-Checks-from-an-Inspirational-Cripple Traumatic brain injury just made my relationship with my theater and film community all the more profound and urgent. Over the course of the last three years, I've broken the things a person actually needs to succeed in Hollywood down to the real essentials, which turned out to be all the habits and values I learned in classical repertory theater. Over the months and years following my injury, I explained those lessons in film language over a 200 article blog: http://www.8sidedforum.com/group/the-developmental-breakdown Thank you for sharing your story... and moreso than this, thank you very much for your uncompromising excellence and selflessness in what you give to this community and to your audience. I'm a UMASS alum myself, and I do miss Western Mass! Have a blast at Hampshire!
