SYNOPSIS:

Lyles does not remember being born with a silver spoon in his mouth. His earliest memories are those of struggle, of instability, of lacking order. To discover as a college student that his family was once wealthy was bitter sweet. His journey now is to discover the path that led them to the state of near outcast. He accepts a position as a Temp at Ernstine Corporation. He strives to uncover the truth that dictated his recent past and in the process what he learns is troubling to him and leads him down a path of anger, concentrated on vengeance. Ernstine Corporation has been a pillar in the city for decades. From its inception it has al-ways provided stability to the economic mainstream of America. Built from the ground up, its contributions reach beyond the gross domestic product, to the countless lives of those who’ve worked for and through the organization. There have been only two leaders of the company. One who took the company from a grass-roots community based business to a multi-million dollar Fortune 500 company, and there is the current CEO. The former represented everything that is right and the latter everything that is wrong. 20 years prior during a financial crisis, many high ranking executives jumped ship amid an insider trading scandal. Though not directly involved, the then CEO took the fall for the company. Sentenced to 10 years in prison and blackballed from the company, he chose rather to end his own life the very day he was to be incarcerated. Fast forward twenty years later. His then 4 year old son learns of facts surrounding his fa-ther’s death. How he lived a blameless life but took the fall for something he did not do, something he could not do. How his family lost everything his father had built for them for the sake of a few malefactors. How he vowed to make amends for his death, at any cost. He doesn’t realize however, that the feds have an open investigation on the Ernstine Corpora-tion also and that they have a mole planted to oversee the Sarbanes-Oxley implementation. Someone is again moving securities in breach of their fiduciary duty undermining the trust and confidence of the American people. He does not realize that his endeavors have be-come part of a bigger problem, one that he can’t escape
