DREAM WARRIORS
By Rick Blackwell

GENRE: Sci-fi, Action
LOGLINE:

When darkness invades all hopes and dreams, it takes the power of five children's extraordinary gifts of imagination to free the world.

SYNOPSIS:

A group of kids often meet after school to play imaginary scenarios whereby they save the world from various bad guys. One of the children, Mickey, recently lost his mother to cancer. While playing in the park one day, Mickey abruptly loses his ability to imagine. The children wish that they could do something to help Mickey and his father, who has taken her death very hard. That night, just before it was time to go in, several small meteorites lit up the night's sky as they fell into the trees behind the park. Curious, the children go to investigate. They each find one individual rock that is glowing a different color. That night, James, the eldest of the children, puts his rock under his pillow, and it begins to glow brightly. Something moving in James' room awakens him. He looks around but doesn't find anything. Then, as he is about to go back to sleep, his large, stuffed Easter Bunny comes to life, requesting his help to save the World of Imagination. While the kids are training to defend the world of imagination, a young kid comes out in a black ninja disguise, leading an army of dark ninjas against them. A fierce battle of martial arts skill and imagination takes place. They defeat all of them except for their leader. The dark ninja opens a doorway into Mickey's father's room in order to put an end to his imagination forever. Mickey follows him through the doorway, with James right behind him. Once inside, the children set Mickey's father free from the darkness. Weeks later, Mickey's father goes to the park to make things right with Mickey and the other children. After receiving forgiveness from Mickey and his friends they play together in the park for the rest of the day enjoying the world of Imagination.
