SYNOPSIS:
When First Sergeant Tex Carson is transferred to Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, he was not looking for love. He had been married before, and was not interested in playing the field, but rather enjoying the perks of his military career -- seeing the world and helping others get ahead.
He didn't expect to be smitten by love in the seedy underbelly of Hawaii's Chinatown. But when Tex lays eyes on the 23 year old mixed race Shane O'Nan-Lim, something new stirred within him. More than just the captivating Eurasian looks of the youthful male, but rather a grace, and humility of spirit caught his attention. This is how the 36 year old African American knew he had to travel down a road that beckoned him to redefine the limits and parameters of love. It was an intangible beauty that called him to Shane, and together they experience a liberation of emotion that neither could foresee.
