Is all that we see or seem really a dream within a dream?
SYNOPSIS:
Famed horror author Edgar Allan Poe, still reeling from the death of his beloved Virginia, begins penning a new tale in remembrance of their time together. Still haunted by it all and the indelible echoes remaining, the shock of her sad and violent death made him determined to finding out that there was an afterlife. What he finds instead is a portal that sends him back to 1890’s Texas, where he is blamed for the death of a local prostitute – who was actually killed by a time-jumping serial killer that resembles Jack the Ripper. He soon realizes that he has been chosen to be a sort of time-traveling bounty hunter who will earn redemption – as well as the return of his beloved Virginia - by traveling back and forth in time to rid the world of vicious murderers – the same type as depicted in his own stories. What he doesn’t expect is being drawn into a side of humanity so deep and dark – and at times even supernatural.
