SYNOPSIS:

Teenager Michelle Black suffers from vivid nightmares of vicious physical violence and death. Her roommate, Valentine Day, is a cutter – a self-mutilator – who suffers from vivid nightmares from her abusive childhood. They meet under the most nightmarish of circumstances – having been committed to the infamous Waverly Hills hospital – but form a close bond that helps them make it through. Little do they know that the head physician, Dr. Victor Borges, is a Victor Frankenstein-ish sado-sexual predator, whose bizarre experiments on the human mind – and body – have claimed countless innocent lives in the basement isolation ward of Waverly Hills.
