A box on board a B-52, flying a mission at the end of WWII, houses a strange creature.

SYNOPSIS:

Terry Thomas is a likable young boy living in a small town with his family. He and his sister visit their uncle, a WWII pilot. John, Terry's uncle, has a birthday give for him. It turns out the gift is an unusual creature, a gremlin. Terry immediately likes the creature, but the feeling isn't mutual. The gremlin, Gusto, causes nothing but trouble. But after a short period, Gusto, Terry, and his sister Sarah become fast friends. They do many things together, and Gusto develops a love of superhero comics.

When Terry is bullied in school by the neighborhood bully, Gusto teaches him a lesson by causing his car engine to launch out of the vehicle, then back down onto the car.

Before long, trouble comes to town. Criminals looking to make a fast buck kidnap various children to collect a ransom. Soon Gusto sets out to rescue Sarah. But after reading so many comic books, Gusto rescues her as one of many characters at his disposal(Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Spiderman the Hulk).

But that isn't the only problem. A mysterious man comes to town bent on capturing Gusto.
