An affluent woman struggles to cope with the disappearance of her twin brother and husband during the Great War; whereas, their daughter writes about her father’s experience as a way to cope.
SYNOPSIS:
The year is 1920. Andrew returns home from the Great War as an empty shell. He had gone missing after the war ended and recovered in a French hospital for two years before returning home. Unbeknownst to him, his wife, Dottie, is having an affair with Henry, their twin’s tutor. Andrew and Dottie married after she became pregnant, following the orders of her late father. Dottie’s twin brother is also missing, causing her to become obsessed with locating him using a medium. All the while, Patrice and Heather, Dottie and Andrew’s twin daughters, deal with the rapid changes their family endures.
