ONCE A CRIMINAL

ONCE A CRIMINAL
By Joseph Andrew Killeen

GENRE: Crime, Drama
LOGLINE:

Fresh out of prison, toubled Vincenzo tries to start anew but falls back into the vicious cycle of crime and death that turns out, may be inescapable no matter what he does.

SYNOPSIS:

Leaving prison, Vincenzo Costa has high hopes for his future, even though some in his family doubt he has changed his ways.

When his old friends start calling again, luring him into the lifestyle that landed him in prison in the first place, Vinny tries to resist but fails to stop himself from giving into his thirst for revenge against those who wronged him.

His old "friends" and co-conspirators Raleigh and Cole figure that 'two wrongs can make a right' and convince him that Carmine-the man that they had been trying to take out of the drug dealing game years ago, leading to Vincenzo being imprisoned- deserves to suffer like Vinny did.

Not so surprisingly, the pseudo-gangs plan goes awry, leading to dissension and eventual bloodshed among family and friends.

As the web of crime weaves more intricately around Vincenzo and his life spirals out of control, he comes to a realization that perhaps the only two wrongs that he was ever guilty of was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Whether he continues a lifestyle of crime or tries to be a normal member of society like his family members, Vincenzo learns as do his friends and family that no matter what kind of life you intend to lead, life will inevitably lead you to your fate.
