In New Orleans, Aurora parties like there is no tomorrow and finds out that the party might not have to ever end when she is murdered, yet still tries to keep the party alive long after the night life's last call. 

SYNOPSIS:

'The Spirit of Bourbon Street' is comparable to the 1990 film 'Ghost' but with a fun twist; keeping with the story of a ghost avenging their own death but focusing on a free-spirited party girl who is just as intent on keeping her party days alive as she is with seeking revenge.

Living the life on wild Bourbon Street in New Orleans, waitress Aurora parties recklessly with her roommates Vita and Theo... until one night the girls fast and loose lifestyle catches up with them.

Instead of waking up the next day with a hangover, Aurora wakes to find herself outside of her own body! She watches as her former boss and his lackeys try to hide evidence of her demise and through some ensuing strange interactions she begins to understand that her life is over.

Aurora drifts around Bourbon Street, trying in vain to recapture her party days. Amused at first, she soon grows somber, feeling lonely and lost as she comes to terms with the fact that the party really is over.

With the help of a local medium and other wandering spirits stuck in perpetual Mardi Gras, a disenchanted Aurora is finally inspired beyond taking care of her unfinished business and wreaking retribution to move towards the party in the sky!

As she crosses over to the other side, Aurora discovers thrills and pleasures of partying on a whole new level of intensity.

Timeless themes such as life, death and morality are explored through the unique concept of 'The Spirit of Bourbon Street' in unconventional and amusing ways. A cinematic realization of the 'Ghost' meets 'Spring Breakers' concept will surely prove appealing to the target demographic (YA moviegoers).
