SYNOPSIS:
Billy Just, an ex-athlete and avid movie buff, owns a successful architect business, living the American dream in Southern California. He has a school teacher wife Darla, and a beautiful 16-year-old daughter, Jessica. He and his family are community volunteers at area soup kitchens, donating time to help the needy. Billy senses that he is missing something in his life but can’t figure out what it is until the moment he decides to become a pilot. On the day he was to obtain his private pilot’s license, Billy behaved in a manner that he was unfamiliar with and as a result, he lost himself in the moment. Billy thought he had found what he had been seeking before his world came crashing down. As a result of the plane crash, Billy finds himself neither dead nor alive. He is offered a chance to re-unite with his beloved family with the help of a technologically challenged Almighty Being named Presence, but fails to see the big picture. Billy accepts the conditions of the challenge set forth by Presence. Billy experiences the pinnacle of success and the depths of loneliness and despair throughout the challenge. Ultimately, greed controls his thought process and he gets exactly what he wants.
