JUST ONE MORE BUCK

Just One More Buck, a murder-mystery, is based on the true story of my father, who was killed in a deer hunting accident (and my discovery years later that it was foul play).

It was supposed to be my father’s last year deer hunting.  He was going to put down his rifle and pick up a video camera, so that he could share all of the beautiful things he saw in the woods with his family and friends.  He Just wanted One More Buck; hence, the name for the movie title.

JOMB is based on actual forensics from interviews with the lead investigating officer, family, and friends.  It is a story written from the heart.

"An intriguing and mysterious introduction to what must definitely be a riveting suspense/thriller." -- WILDsound Writing Festival, August 2013

" . . . Emorie and Darla make an interesting team. They sometimes seem like opposites, but I think that is what ultimately balances their friendship out . . . They are not only interesting together, but as individual characters." -- BlueCat Screenplay Competition, September 2013.

Course Director's Award for Character Creation and Development, Full Sail University, 2013.
