Just wondering if anyone could tell me how actors are normally paid in a feature film I.e. percentage, set price?

Friends. Just saw the first cut of a movie I'm in. Good scene with great work. Curious - does ANYONE like watching themselves on screen? Doesn't matter how "good" I am in the scene, its painful to have to watch myself. Thoughts, musings, comments, criticisms?
I always sneak out at a screening. I can watch myself by myself. A theatre full of people, can't do it. I am also a stage actor.. but I suppose thats different as I am not actually watching myself.
I like watching myself but I almost always can find something that I would do different if I had another take. So, it can also be frustrating.
Hey Tyler, Sinatra always said that the first take is always the best because it was is fresh, spontaneous and that's how he always did it. Hey, the guy won an Oscar and he did his way, like his song says. You got this, Tyler, my friend.

A lot of the time in my experience, we show up, we make no fuss, we do our jobs, and we get out. I have on serval occasions gotten the impression that everyone on set thinks we are super heroes in both a positive and negative light, meaning in a good way, we are strong, able bodies and willing to do things that no one else will to make the film a success, and a bad way, we are suppose to be able to do the things the director wants that may be more dangerous or reckless than they need to be and only the coordinator is on our side to try and ensure our safety. I would love to have anyone and everyone pipe up with their thoughts, questions, and experience with or on a stunt crew. This is a huge passion of mine. I am also able and will to discuss live stunt shows and the entire other universe those exist in as I will be leaving for another international live stunt show contract at the end of March. Please, lets talk! Cheers.

I am currently studying theater and entertainment business at NYU Tisch. I train at the Lee Strasberg studio and my concentration is method acting and strongest genre is drama. I recently became SAG eligible, received my first IMDB credits and my first film Marriage Material, starring Victoria Jackson will be released this summer. It has been quite a year! I am looking to make new connections in NYC, gain more credits, get involved in projects and to meet all kinds of people from different walks of life. This has been such an incredible journey so far, I still get chills thinking about how much I have accomplished in one year and how I made my dream of living and studying in NYC a reality.
Sounds so exciting, congrats Brittany! And welcome to an amazing new adventure of life! ^_^
Nice to meet you Brittany. I wish you the best of luck in the film business.
Congrats Brittany! An excellent beginning.

Shari, you might be right, maybe he did make closer to a mil, but he wasn't a lead and also TV pays a lot more than features. Actors often are eager to work on a David Fincher or Tarantino film so they often take less money but who knows. Him and his agent alone probably!
If your a union member, call SAG. If non-member, ask, then it's your choice. They're all different. Good luck.
If they don't want you,----- give 'em my name. LOL
