An adaptation of the Wheel of Time - When their village is attacked by monsters from legend, five teens decide to abandon everything they've ever known to save the world.

SYNOPSIS:

On Winternight in the Two Rivers, two strangers arrive in Emonds Field, a village so remote they never see outsiders. Nynaeve al'Maera, the village healer, takes immediate offense to the newcomers when they underestimate her position due to her youth. Three young men in the village - Rand al Thor, the serious shepherd; Perrin Aybara, the careful blacksmith's apprentice, and Matt Cauthon, the practical joker, have been stalked by a shadowy figure. Egwene al'Vere, having reached adulthood, chooses to study healing with Nynaeve over a childhood romance with Rand. As the village prepares for the festival, Rand and his father return home only to be attacked by monsters from legend. The two strangers, Moiraine and Lan, as well as the gleeman Thom Merrilin, help defend the village from attack. When his father is wounded covering Rand's escape, he must find a way to get him to the healers, but in his fever dream he reveals that Rand is adopted. Rand arrives at dawn to the village to find it reeling from the same attack.
