ACT 1: Two women, SITI and DOAN, are recruited by film producers to perform pranks by rubbing baby oil on the faces of unsuspecting people for laughs. Seduced by promises of money and fame, they begin practising under the guidance of these producers, eventually culminating to the big day at an airport in Kuala Lumpur. 3 days later, they are arrested and accused of killing Kim Jong-nam, the brother of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un - a man the two women vehemently deny knowing. How did these two women, who days before were merely ordinary people, end up embroiled in an international scandal that shook the world?

ACT 2: Together with their lawyers, they begin uncovering shocking facts about the reality show. The producers were actually North Korean operatives and the entire reality show was fake. All the training they had were in fact trial runs for the actual murder. The women were made to believe the liquid on their hands was baby oil, but in fact was VX - the world's most dangerous nerve agent capable of killing within minutes. They must now convince the judge they were merely unwitting pawns and had no clue what they were doing.

ACT 3: It is an explosive story that has captured global attention. The world believes the girls are innocent, but there is mounting evidence that they are North Korean agents who knew what they were doing. If found guilty, they will be sentenced to death. Halfway through the trial, the prosecutors suddenly drop the charges and the two girls are set free. They learn there has been a flurry of diplomatic arrangements all this while being made to free them. As they walk out of prison as free women, they reflect on the events of the past few months - how they were unwittingly involved in a bizarre murder and being made a pawn in a power struggle in the North Korean regime - a murder that shook the world and changed the geopolitical landscape forever.
