I've completed two films, "Coma" and "Stranger", Both which are directed by Jeremiah Kipp and star Lydia Darly (Exorcist: The Beginning, The Way You Love). Currently my screenplay God and the Devil (short) has been chosen as an official selection of the Iodine Horror Screenplay Competition. In addition, Coma will be showcased at the New York Scary Film Awards . As you can guess, i'm a big fan of Horror. But even more so I love a good story. I am working to hone my craft to reflect the vision I want to see on the big screen one day. To that end I am here mainly to network with anyone who'd like to come along for the ride. Currently on my roaster: (Also a big Sci Fi fan, as well) The 100, Season 1 The Following, Season 1 Battlestar Galatica, Season 3
Congratulations! The completion of 2 films is a huge accomplishment. Good luck on your screenplay!
I echo Markeith's comments. Tremendous accomplishment.
Thank you both kindly :).

I've won a couple of film fests over the year, and lost a couple. And I'm in a new fest this coming March. I'll be shooting less indie films this year and spending more time concentrating on trying to pitch scripts to that Holy of Holies: Hollywood! But until then, here's a link to the trailer for the film I have in the March film fest. https://vimeo.com/101476538
Thank you so much. Hopefully 2015 will be a good year for all of us!
Congratulations Steven. Great meeting you. Good luck.
Yep........by the blessings of God .

Currently I am working on a variety of projects: A feature length documentary about the destruction of the oldest drive-in theater in Illinois; a feature length screenplay in the vein of "It's a Wonderful Life"; and I hope to be re-shooting a short film this spring/summer. The short film is part of an anthology series I would love to pitch at some point soon. I would love to connect with other creatives to share ideas, support each other, and create friendships. And I am always looking for collaborators and/or honest feedback from others, and would be willing to do the same in return (my feature screenplay is in desperate need of trimming!). Hope to "meet" many of you here!
That doc on the old movie theater sounds pretty cool, Don. Best of luck with it and your other projects/endeavors.
Hi Don, the doc about the oldest drive in sounds really cool! Also, not sure if you saw there was a HAPPY WRITERS class we offered this month from literary manager Lee Stobby about how to trim your script. That will be available on demand in about 3 weeks once his class is finished :)
Way to keep busy Don. Good meeting. Best of luck.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
