In 1872, a young, idealistic English witch with fledgling powers, together, with a ruthless bounty hunter turned preacher, must travel to legendary Superstition Mountain to retrieve a powerful ancient relic from the notorious Wild Wild Witch or be banished from America forever.

SYNOPSIS:

"THE WILD WILD WITCH" follows AMANDA HARRINGTON (Emily Blunt), a young fledgling witch who leaves her powerful aristocratic family in nineteenth century England to start a new life in America. Bright, determined, and idealistic, Amanda arrives in New York seeking to acquire her witch's license by demonstrating her magical abilities before the High Council of the Witches Coalition. Shocked by her dismal performance, the Council rejects Amanda’s application, but instead of sending her home in utter shame, they present her with a dangerous task. To acquire her license, Amanda must retrieve a powerful ancient relic from the notorious Wild Wild Witch, MORELLA; a quest from which no one has returned.

Assisted by a Witches’ Coalition agent, the dapper midget GRIMBAL ELDRIDGE III Amanda finds herself whisked away to the legendary gold fields of Arizona. Here, she encounters BRADLEY JACOBS, a former gun slinging bounty hunter turned preacher. After overcoming a rocky start, Amanda and Bradley set off together in search of the defiant witch.

They confront a dilapidated flying train operated by a boisterous prospecting witch, named CLAUDINE, and her three idiotic sons, CLINT, CLYDE, and CLETUS. Claudine tells them all about MORELLA, the spell that binds her to this wilderness, and the ancient relic that can set her free. Determined to complete the mission, they press forward to Superstition Mountain and Morella’s castle fortress. They find slaves mining for gold deep beneath the castle and encounter a posse of talking animals led by a sheriff that Morella had turned into a rather large bear. Together they create a plan to free the slaves and retrieve the amulet. They barely escape with their lives from an encounter with DONOVAN BLACKWOOD, Morella's cold-hearted accomplice and his ominous enforcers. Donovan recognizes Bradley as the bounty hunter who he left for dead years ago when he tried to take him in. Inside Morella's castle, they discover deceit, treachery, and lust for power about to explode into a war between Morella and her enemies. Donovan plots to double-cross Morella and take all the gold with the help of The Governor of Arizona and a corrupt Cavalry leader. In Morella’s chamber, Amanda and Bradley face off with Morella’s cat, a huge black panther that protects the amulet.

The castle is in total disarray as forces from all sides collide. When Bradley is outmatched by Donovan’s wizardly powers, Amanda discovers that she alone holds the key to the powerful relic and must make life altering decisions to save them. The Cataclysmic ending finds Amanda and Bradley engulfed in a climactic battle between good and evil that ends with an epic twist.
