SYNOPSIS:

Two brothers, Julian and Kyle, walk into a diner one afternoon and tell the owner they are there to rob the place. We go back to a few days earlier when Julian arrives back at the family home after a number of years away. He is greeted by brother Kyle and they enter the house. Julian goes to his sister Vicky's room and is confronted by his mother Marie, who is extremely upset. We gather that something has terrible has happened to Vicky. As Kyle joins them, Marie makes Julian promise to "Get the bastards who did this!" Back in the diner, Kyle secures the customers, while Julian goes to the kitchen to round up the staff. We flashback to two days earlier; Julian and Kyle visit Vicky in the hospital, who, it is revealed, has been shot and is now in a coma. Before they leave, Kyle asks out Alison, the nurse who is caring for Vicky. Back in the diner, Julian bursts into the kitchen and holds the staff at gunpoint. We flashback to two days earlier; Julian and Kyle arrive at a local bar, outside which it is revealed Vicky was shot. Julian ingratiates himself with the Barman. However, it is all a contrivance to get information about Vicky's shooting. The Barman becomes suspicious, sends Julian packing, and phones a local crime Boss. Back in the diner, Julian marches the staff into the front of the diner with the owner and customers. We flashback to two days earlier; later the same day, Julian and Kyle go back to the bar, attending a gig by a local band. There, it is revealed the Singer of the band may know something about the shooting. The Barman once again phones the Boss who sends over some henchmen, forcing Julian and Kyle to make their escape. Back in the Diner, at the end of the episode, the Barman is revealed to be sitting in the diner as the robbery takes place and recognises Julian. It dawns on him that it is no coincidence that he is at the diner.
