SYNOPSIS:

The Screenwriter's Karma is a story about a struggling screen writer named Steve. He has a friend named Buddy who he hangs out with and goes to the Bar with. As Steve is struggling to create a screenplay that is acceptable, Buddy comes up with the idea that he should become who he writes in real life. Basically intertwining his stories into his day to day life.

Steve goes ahead and does this and begins becoming one of his character's he's writing in the initial screen play title "The Screenwriter Player". Steve goes to the bar with Buddy and uses his interactions with woman to help him write his story as it progresses as his interactions do as well.

These interactions, of the sexual variety, boost Steve's mood and screen writing as he continues to intertwine his life and his writing. As things seem to be getting better, they take a turn for the worse when one of the women, named Samantha, finds Steve with another woman. That leads to Samantha, after her and Steve seem to be having a deeper connection and after having previous "relationships" fail due to similar reasons, finds her self on the ledge of the top of a building.

Steve ends up having to talk her down and promising Samantha he will never use a woman like that again. The following events are interaction after interaction of woman bashing Steve and his character. In one instance, leading to scalding hot pizza being thrown on him.

Steve ends up, after sulking and being frustrated, writes letters to each one, individually, apologizing for his behavior. He leaves these letters on the door steps of their houses where each one reads them with various reactions with the most important being Samantha. The letter gives her hope, even after another abysmal situation, that some people can actually change for the better - and mean it.

Steve ends up finishing his screenplay that he ends up changing to the "The Screenwriter's Karma" after karma smacked him in the face, figuratively, for his behavior. Steve, after months go by, receives a call about a script someone is interested in. The story ends almost the same way it began, but this time on a good note after karma intervenes and teaches Steve a life lesson.
