SYNOPSIS:

"Ashes of Autumn," is inspired by true events in 1985. It is a provocative and emotionally wrought crime-drama/thriller which depicts a family's traumatic descent into chaos when husband (Connor) cheats, and his distraught wife Jessica loses herself to her despair. It has a strong female-driven lead role (Fatal Attraction meets Terms of Endearment).

Their two young children Josh and Autumn, caught in the cross-fire, become the wreckage of their parent's stormy marriage. Their idyllic, middle-class world suddenly shifts and then disintegrates after Connor's infidelity is discovered by Jessica.

Heartbroken and vulnerable, Jessica anesthetizes herself with drugs, and embarks on her own reckless affair with Eddie, a charming psychopath. A desperate and dysfunctional relationship forms and then ruptures. Living in a remote cabin with no connection to the outside world, Jessica clashes with the monster that Eddie has unmasked. She finds herself in a life and death struggle to save not only herself, but the most innocent of victims... Josh and Autumn.
