SYNOPSIS:
An educational field trip turns into a murderous rampage when a demonic Angel executes its plan to regain its strength from the heir of a past enemy. Okay, before we Flash Forward to the present... A young girl, Polly, recounts the story of Lucifer’s war against Heaven and his siege on Earth. In Mississippi in 1896, a fallen angel watches as a family tends to a sick baby while the father of the child refuses to heal her with anything but the grace of God. In present day, the same mask sits on a table in a high school assembly hall with various other slavery artifacts. Nerds and jocks alike are forced into the same room, and they’re not happy about it. Principal H ilton addresses the rowdy children. Mary, an excellent student, ignores the taunts of Charles and Margarete, as she explains the event. She won an opportunity for the students to go to a slavery reenactment over spring break. Odessa LaMar from the Smith Plantation Ranch addresses the students. The children are assigned various roles in the slavery process. Mary has a special connection with the African mask. The evil is released to continue its efforts to gain power to battle God again. If you're interested in why the name Jigaboo.. I wrote Jigaboo with some of hidden tales, fables and religion rolled into a horror. I thought it fitting for fallen angel to be behind such Whispers of evil. As a writer I want to engage people's emotional context on my interpretation of horror. Jigaboo is not a word to take or bring to light, lightly. But I'm using it fittingly enough to describe how a demon wears human bodies to do damage. Much how many of the black community feels about black face. As a writer we should not only just entertain but engage the audience psyche. Like any evil you must invite them in. So emerges an injured angel inviting a brutally beaten slave to join as one to become Jigaboo! Wearing his skin the Angel locates a new found strength.
