SYNOPSIS:
A heist film set in high school. It tells the story of five sophomores from different social cliques –- Becky, a promising swimmer, Hugh, a goth, Steve, a ”catholic geek”, Walt, a nerd, and Tony, a social outcast. When the future career of four of them is put in jeopardy after they fail a history quiz, they decide to put aside their differences and break into the teacher’s lounge to replace their quizzes before they will be graded, despite the fact that their school had just bought an advanced security system. But in the last moment, Tony bows out from the plan, forcing Becky to enlist her wise-cracking, Goonie-like younger brother Corey for help. Everything goes according to plan... until they find out that they accidentally left Becky’s school ID in the teacher’s lounge, which can expose what they’ve done. Regretting he disappointed the rest of the group, Tony finds enough courage in himself to help retrieve Becky’s ID as well as make a bold move toward Miss Belle West, the geography teacher and his longtime crush. When they almost succeed (and, surprisingly, it turns out that the lovely teacher has feelings for Tony as well), Miss West catches them red handed... only to tell them that they didn’t have to do it, since it was a pop quiz, and if it’s not graded during the very lesson it was taken, it’s invalid. Having their grades saved, the sophomore ensemble can sigh with relief and, having learned something about each other, embrace their newfound friendship.
