In order to gain acceptance to an elite sorority, a pledge must date the most socially awkward guy in school - and pretend to be his girlfriend - for a week.
SYNOPSIS:
KIT KARSON is a college student with hopes of being accepted into Thi Beta Alpha, the most elite sorority on campus. If she gets in, her future is set.
However, during a tour of the grand sorority house, she accidentally spills champagne on the shirt of ELLE’ LARSON, the conceited head of the sorority. Now, Kit has to “earn” her way into the prestigious sorority by completing a task… she must date BUCKY – the unpopular, socially awkward guy – for a week and pretend to be his girlfriend.
During this week long torture, Kit tries her best to act as if she likes Bucky while inside, she is disgusted by every fake act of affection she shows him. To make it worse, Elle’ and her sorority sisters continually spy on them to make sure Kit doesn’t weasel out of her obligation.
Bucky eventually learns Kit is only using him to gain acceptance into Thi Beta Alpha. He doesn’t say anything until her week is nearly up. That's when he reveals to Kit what he knows, but he didn’t say anything because he knew how important the sorority was to her.
Kit is touched by Bucky’s selfless act. She begins to see another side of Bucky and their relationship grows.
A few days later, Kit is at the cafeteria when Elle’ and two Thi Beta Alpha sisters walk in. Elle’ breaks the good news to Kit: her one week is up and after much deliberation, she is accepted into Thi Beta Alpha.
Just then, Bucky enters, walks up to Kit's table and asks if she is ready to leave. Elle’ and the other girls wonder what is going on and that is when Kit tells Elle’ she is no longer interested in being a sorority sister and shows Elle’ what she thinks of Thi Beta Alpha before she walks off with Bucky.
