Two master thieves mentor a down-on-his-luck amateur thief in his craft. To show his gratitude he'll accomplish the one task his mentors couldn't complete - steal an item illegally usurped by a private collector and return it to the museum. He devises the scheme with such complexity as to also gain the love of his life.

SYNOPSIS:

"Ian Simon Teal" is a riveting Thriller that is full of twists. It's a man's journey into self-worth. A thief will accomplish a task his mentors couldn't complete, as repayment for the skills they've given him.

After leaving prison Georges allows himself to be caught again, but this time in Italy, in order to be sent to the Italian prison housing Roberto Messner. With further training from the master thief (Roberto), Georges completes his training. After leaving jail for the second time, Georges enjoys the riches and fruits of his labour. He adopts a hip swagger; wears sixties style clothes, and develops his charm all as a reminder of the day in his youth when he passed the rich neighbourhood.

In order to show his gratitude toward both mentors, Georges attempts the one task they could never complete. He will steal a rare statue from the private hands of the unscrupulous X-MET Director, PHILIPPE DE GROUCHY, who illegally usurped it. Georges must then return it to its rightful destination at the MET. In so doing, Georges orchestrates a scheme so elaborate and complex in design that if completed, it should simultaneously bring him close to his nemesis and the unaware love of his life, HENRIETTA DEL SERRA (the female lead), an Art Insurance Agent looking to capture the famous Happy Face Thief.
