To save his kidnapped lover's life, a master forger and art thief must steal a famous Gauguin sculpture and hatch a daring plan to rescue her.
SYNOPSIS:
The story is about brilliant forger and methodical art thief GEORGES SISSON who operates under a strict code of conduct. When Georges' lover and partner-in-crime HENRIETTA DEL SERRA is kidnapped by one of his previous marks, PHILIPPE DE GROUCHY, Georges is put in the dubious position of stealing Gauguin’s famous Oviri statue from the Brooklyn Museum of Art to win her safety. Georges never steals from the public but realises that his refusal to do so will ensure certain death for Henrietta. He soon realises that all bets are off when, after stealing the statue, Philippe's men attempt to kill him. Now, with Henrietta's life hanging in the balance, Georges must figure out a way to further evade Philippe's double-crossing thugs, and outwit her captor. Thankfully, Georges frames Philippe for the theft of a painting owned by nefarious Russian gangster BORIS DOGARKOVSKY. He then utilises Boris' gun-toting henchmen as backup.
