SYNOPSIS:

Eight years into the mission, the majority of the crew have settled into the rhythm of life on the USS Constellation, all except RJ. RJ’s resentment, free spirit, and quest for freedom begin to attract some of the younger crew members. When the ship inadvertently enters an asteroid field, Captain Theresa Powell and Operation Officer Eric Armitage take charge, developing plans to increase the ship’s speed and recover over twenty personnel trapped in a broken planting pod, including the President and Vice President. When a large asteroid threatens the ship with destruction, RJ and his father seize their opportunity to take over the ship and leave Eric and the planting pod stranded in space.
