Arthur --- I think the log line a little long. How about: "When a couple discovers they have the same father, the information becomes public and the notoriety threatens to destroy their marriage." The synopsis will reveal the ending, and the title could communicate the mood. For example: Diagnosis Tragedy or I Don't Want to Know or Common Bonds. Just a few first thoughts ... but the premise is definitely interesting ... do they live in a small town? Are they very religious? Have you discussed the ramifications of the situation with a pastor, lawyer, or counselor? (I'm sure you'll do your research.) Is there a believable reason why they can't just move away? Is the way the public finds out believable? Why do they have the DNA test done? Do they become suspicious for a believable reason? These are the questions that I immediately asked that might challenge the script.

Your version of the logline is very good.

Heroes can live in any city. A small town remained from the previous version of this idea. So, they can live in a big city.

Step brothers and sisters are forbidden to marry, so it doesn't matter how religious the characters are. I assume that this is a modern family that is in the middle, but the circumstance forces them to make a choice between the religious norm, the law and modern trends.

It's not always possible to leave. Someone misjudges the seriousness of the situation, someone simply does not have money, and someone is morally weak to fight and solve problems.
