SYNOPSIS:

KAREN discovers she's pregnant with a second child, an illegal act in her world. With her husband's unwavering support for the law, she grapples with how to disclose the news to him. As signs point her towards The Nadir Project, an underground organization offering help to "two-timers" like her, Karen embarks on a journey, where she meets JOHN, a sympathetic runner offering assistance. When wanting to discuss their options, her husband reacts with hostility and Karen is propelled into a desperate flight to find aid. Karen resorts to drastic measures, pilfering funds to secure her place in a Nadir safe house for her and her son.
