A teenage girl struggles to cope with her erratic meth-addicted mother’s lifestyle and how it compromises the well-being and future of herself and her siblings.

In 1995 San Diego, TERRI (30s), and her children live a precarious life, dumpster diving and sleeping in an old van. Terri's meth-addicted boyfriend, BLUE (30s), and his hustler brother, DALE (30s), complicate their lives with their criminal ties to the Aryan Brotherhood.

After securing a house, their situation worsens. Dale's pregnant girlfriend, HEATHER (20s), threatens to leave, while LEXI (14) learns the hustling trade and falls for LEO (19), who introduces her to drugs. When Terri and Dale disappear on a bender, Lexi is left to fend for her siblings.
