Gabe Sheets wrote this at age 14 and filmed at age 15. He is a natural talent.
He handled a lot of the project on his own. I assume it took what time he needed to get it where he wanted it before he abandoned it. I have not been informed enough of budget or delay.
After a violent accident that results in a sudden onset of amnesia, a man must put together contradictory evidence to figure out who he really is amid an intense foot chase. From sixteen year old writer/director Gabe Sheets comes Fugue, a short film three years in the making. Gabe wrote the screenplay at fourteen, directed the film at fifteen, and is finally releasing the film at sixteen. The film is deep seeded with Gabe’s influences from high profile directors Nolan, Fincher, and Villeneuve. The ambitious thirty minute crime drama was only possible with the support of the spectacular St. Louis film community.
