Following a series of 911 calls, First Responders arrive at a subway station where a train has come to an abrupt emergency stop. Inside, carriages full of passengers have been trapped while four assailants armed with bladed weapons carried out a mass murder of over 30 people.

SWAT arrive amidst the chaos of fleeing passengers, taking down two of the men immediately. Passengers have already disarmed and killed the third assailant; the fourth - ABDUL ATWA - is shot and injured by Police.

Under armed guard, ATWA, an Islamic fundamentalist, is rushed to hospital.

FBI learn that Atwa is part of a bigger plot and paired with Intel from the CIA they learn that further attacks are planned, one being the possible detonation of a bomb at a Basketball game.

What the police aren’t yet aware of is that Atwa is the son of one of FBI’s most wanted terrorists and he has sent a team of men to rescue him from the hospital.

After a hellacious takeover, the terrorists lock down the hospital while they try to find Atwa.

But what they haven’t counted on is Police Officer NICK TREADWELL who is buried deep in the midst of the maternity ward with his wife in labour, giving birth to their first child.

With the building under siege and the clock ticking, Treadwell finds a way to communicate with the police and FBI outside. What follows is a cat and mouse game between the terrorists and Treadwell as he tries to eliminate them one by one and find out the location of the bomb all the while trying to ensure the safety of his wife and the birth of his son...
