SYNOPSIS:

This is a stage play that introduces African American LGBT culture in many different facets. Jackson "Veronica" Dupree, a gender illusionist stage performer, is the "mother of the house" who can solve the world's problems, but can't seem to do anything about his own as her lover of 2 years suddenly leaves with only a note left to explain why. "Her" best friend, Latina, a biological female, believes she is a lesbian in denial because she is always falling in love and/or attracted to gay men. Danielle and Eric are fraternal twins; she a good girl type and Eric is her flamboyant male counterpart. She has been engaged to the only man she has been intimate with for 7 years, Steven. 5 of the 7 years Steven has been sleeping with Eric. Eric finds out he is HIV positive; Danielle discovers she is pregnant and HIV positive.
