ON A WET NOVEMBER MORNING, SHONA LANSBURY A FEMALE JOURNALIST WORKING FOR A BRITISH DAILY PAPER "UK TODAY" RECEIVES A PHONE CALL FROM HER BOSS ASSIGNING HER TO REPORT ON A STORY OF AN ASIAN MAN FOUND DEAD IN FINSBURY PARK. AND WHAT SEEMS TO BE A SIMPLE CASE OF A MAN FOUND DEAD IN THE FINSBURY PARK BECOMES A POLITICAL SCANDAL WHEN SHE DISCOVERS AN UNDERGROUND CONNECTION BETWEEN THE DEAD MAN AND THE NEWLY ELECTED PRIME MINISTER. SHONAS LIFE BECOMES EMBROILED AS THE SCANDAL DEEPENS. HER FATHER LORD LANSBURY WHO'S A MEMBER OF NATIONAL SECURITY SELECT COMMITTEE IN THE BRITISH PARLIAMENT IS ALSO CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE. HOT ON HER TRAIL IS THE SECRET SERVICE, HER SOURCE GOES MISSING AND HER HOUSE IS BROKEN INTO, PRESSURE FROM POWERS THAT BE IS APPLIED TO HER BOSS THE EDITOR OF "UK TODAY" TO DROP THE INVESTIGATION AND CEASE THE PUBLICATION OF ANY MATERIAL INVOLVED IN THE SCANDAL. MEANWHILE THREE MONTHS INTO THE OFFICE PRIME MINISTER'S OPPONENTS ARE SOON PRESENTED WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO DISPOSES HIM OUT OF POWER, AND SOON THEY SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO WHEN SHONAS EVIDENCE IS MADE PUBLIC. SHONA FINDS HERSELF BACKED INTO A CORNER WHEN HER SOURCE DISAPPEARS, HER BOSS IS KILLED AND REALISE HER EVIDENCE AGAINST PRIME MINISTER WAS PHONY. SHE SETS OUT TO FIND THE REAL TRUTH AND CLEAR PRIME MINISTER'S NAME, BUT TIME IS NOT ON HER SIDE.
Hi Naison, you might want to check your thriller logline for readability - at the moment 'can' is repeated twice in the sentence and you probably need 'are' instead of 'is.' Also, writing in capital letters is harder for people to read as every letter is the same size. Right now its not a logline but a teaser - when writing a logline, keep it short (25 words)and try to include: hero, antagonist, goal and jeopardy within it - something like: 'when the corridors of power are shaken by corruption, John Smith (hero) sets out to expose (antagonist) leader Jenkins and win election (goal) but will he survive? OR,,,when the corridors of power are shaken by corruption, John Smith sets out to expose corrupt leader Jenkins to win election but will he survive? All the best
