Based on the true events of how two African American brothers mastered a successful cleaning business in the 1920s, despite racism, the Great Depression, and confronting the Mob.
SYNOPSIS:
Based on the actual events of how two African American brothers mastered cleaning clothes into a profitable business industry, during the 1920s and 30s. The Doles brothers managed to save their money from tips and money earned from odd jobs here and there. They secured a business loan from one of the first Negro Banks in Harlem. This was the start of their new beginning. The brothers finally made their dreams come true and had many nightmares too. The Doles brothers survived the DEPRESSION, the MOB, and even RACISM. It was about survival, conquering the world with a cleaning business, and going face-to-face with the Mob. Collins Doles invented a cleaning solution that would revolutionize the laundry business. Their laundry business even survived the market crash in 1929. Unfortunately, the brothers did not obtain the proper patents to secure their product and mark their permanent historical place. Nevertheless, the two brothers made history by keeping a payroll worth $250,000 dollars and employing over 60 workers.
