calling all kenyan creatives would just like to let you know about a new video portal for promoting the work of kenyan creatives. www.LOVEnairobi.com WHAT IS LOVE NAIROBI ? www.LOVEnairobi.com is all about sharing Kenyan creative talent with the world – a place to see Kenyan music, Kenyan film and Kenyan video. A place where Kenyan creatives in music, film, documentary, animation or TV can share their videos online for free. Our reasoning is … by providing a portal for all things Kenyan we make it easier for people to find Kenyan talent. We also do free promo for all the videos on the site and we’re also actively seeking international partners to help further the careers and prospects of Kenyan creative talent. All the content on LOVEnairobi.com is shared by the creatives themselves – so its a level playing field – any Kenyan creative can publish their videos on this site. We leave it up the viewers to decide whats popular or not. Anyone with ‘rights’ to a video can share it on LOVEnairobi – managers, producers, artists, videographers, studios, actors, animators – we don’t mind. We also encourage people to give full credits to the whole team involved in the video - that way LOVEnairobi also becomes a directory of Kenyan talent because its possible to search on anyone credited and find other work by them. We’ve made the whole process as streamlined and as artist friendly as possible – once a creative has registered and completed their profile – that profile (with all their social links) just shows up automatically under any future videos they submit. There’s also no uploading to do, we only use links from existing YouTube or Vimeo videos and that means all the views we generate on LOVEnairobi go back to the artists own YouTube or Vimeo channel. There is no downside to sharing on LOVEnairobi, no hidden agendas, no catches, it’s free and just has the benefit of Kenyan creatives in it’s heart. Thats why there is LOVE in the name!
