Geoff, thank you Sir, currently I'm very busy with multiple projects.. I'm a full time faculty member at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Theatre Arts and Dance : instructor/ piano dance accompanist / MD. I'm also sound designing a new show for UALR. In addition , I'm the web master and social media manager for our department. Outside of school, I'm recording all the orchestrations for the musical "Brigadoon", next I'm recording the orchestrations for "La Cage aux Folles. I also play keys in 2 bands. I'm also chipping away at a ballet technique CD as well as a Martha Graham technique CD. Hi Michael, Wow, that's a very full life! But great like you say that you are working in the field you love. For my current project ( I feel like an underachiever!!) we are looking to move away, on the musical side of the production, from 'lyrical' emotional prompt music to exploring the great craft of sound design. I actually came across a composer on Stage 32 who lives in my home city of Bristol and we finally met up to discuss the production and it seems like we have already, a very compatible view of this field. To the point where we could speak in a kind of creative shorthand, because our 'loves' were so in line. Sound design intrigues and excites me. Are there sound designers who really stand out to you as masters of their craft and who inspire you? Best, Geoff
