Three elite bank robbers with different approaches get caught while trying to pull off a heist on a bank. They recall to the police how they met and formed a team, as one of them has a plan to escape from police custody.

SYNOPSIS:

Diamond Hodges is a 26 year old loner who robs banks for the thrill. She seduces her way in and sneaks her way out. Cal McGowan is an 18 year old science and math prodigy who got his PhD from The University of Cambridge at age 15. He can hack almost any computerized security or banking system, and he's developing a sleeping drug for medical and other uses. Jim Collins is an old timer who like to rob banks the old fashioned way, Bonnie and Clyde style. He's a gun fanatic and a New York City native with a passion for entertainment.

Diamond, Cal, and Jim rob a high security bank. This bank is not like others. The security system is tricky and Cal can't access the whole system without inside help. Diamond has to go into the bank and have someone manually open the vault while Jim causes a distraction in the main lobby. In the vault Diamond is setting up what seems like her way out but the police make their way into the bank and arrest Her and Jim. The police find Cal in the van outside and arrest him too. They get taken into police custody and with no loyalty to each other they tell the whole story of how they met and formed an alliance.

Cal begins the story with when he met Jim. Jim is intrigued by Cal's knowledge and attempts to combine forces, but Cal is stubborn and refuses. Cal disappears, but something Jim said kept nagging at him so he sought Jim out, put him to a test, and they started working together. Cal thinks Jim is a bit unethical in his ways so he searches for a whisper on the wind that is Diamond.

Diamond is found in Chicago minding her own business. Realizing she is being followed rather than attempt to outrun she goes to tell them off. She finds Cal and Jim trying to rob the bank she just drained of all physical cash. She attempts to leave after she tells them off for following her but they kidnap her and eventually convince her to stay with them. During this Cal is working on a new type of bomb that can control the blast areas.

Diamond, Jim, and Cal rob a string of banks all over North America and some other places along with it. They make a stop for a scientific research conference Cal is hosting in Los Angeles. He is talking about a sleeping drug he developed after his presentation to one of his professors from Cambridge and he opens up the idea of students volunteering to be test subjects to develop the drug further, so Cal decides they should go to England but not before they steal from a couple of hotel rooms and things go wrong. They leave a trail that could lead to them which makes the need to get out of the country more urgent, but Jim needs a passport.

Diamond knows a guy that forges passports, unfortunately it is her cousin, Elias. She abandoned him when he got put in jail and took the blame for both of them when they were a team. Elias decides to come with them and protect her despite what she's done. When they get to England the stay with Cal's sister, Chloe, who Elias immediately takes a liking to. They all go to Cambridge to hold a drug testing for Cal. Cal tells Chloe to get Elias out of the picture and she takes him away because she will do anything for her little brother.

Cal, Diamond, and Jim head back to the States having completed with the test subjects hoping their problem has dissipated. Quite the contrary, while trying to rob a bank Diamond is recognized and Jim is forced to take drastic measures and shoots her in the arm. They narrowly escape. Realizing they are close to getting caught Cal reveals a hidden agenda to steal floor and security plans for a Casino Hotel in Reno and a little something else. It is a much more elaborate plan than they have attempted before but they are running out of time.

Now we are about back to where we started in the story. We've come full circle. Cal is disabling alarms and security cameras, Jim is causing a distraction, and Diamond is in the vault setting up a bomb and stealing the casino plans. They get caught. Cal reminds the police about the bomb Diamond set up and Diamond reveals it is armed.

The police lock up Jim in a cell and take Cal and Diamond with them to disarm the bomb. Diamond has set the bomb up in a way that when it explodes it creates a way out. She detonates the bomb and all of the police are either hurt or bamboozled that Cal and Diamond are able to escape; and they go their separate ways.
