Hank O'Brian is a retired, hard-as-nails, NYC police commissioner with one foot in the grave. He gets a second chance at life when he gains superpowers and through them gets his youth back. As the Gray Guardian, Hank uses his powers to clean up crime and corruption in his neighborhood and the rest of New York City. No One is beyond the Gray Guardian's crusade, including crooked city and police officials.
