AFTER THE END (PILOT)
By Mark A. Brown

GENRE: Drama, Sci-fi
LOGLINE: Human refugees find shelter on an alien world, but are their hosts rescuers or a dangerous unknown enemy?

SYNOPSIS:

Ensign Daniel Rostam of the Solar Confederation awakens after a battle to find himself among a camp of hard-luck refugees. Earth and its colonies have fallen before an extraterrestrial threat, and the fallout from this First Contact has scattered refugees across a dozen worlds. This particular camp is home to soldiers, farmers, priests, and businessmen, all struggling to make sense of the upheaval, each of them unsure of who to trust or what to do. Some believe that they can go home, others believe that they are being tested before the Rapture, still others see only an opportunity to seize power. And then there are the aliens; enigmatic, incomprehensible, and terrifyingly advanced, the Hishiin must have reasons of their own for wanting the humans here. It quickly becomes clear that the situation is more complicated than anyone was expecting, and humans and Hishiin must struggle together to find common ground, or risk destroying themselves.
