Hi everyone. I'm David, originally from Los Angeles, now living in Tokyo. I didn't come to screenwriting and filmmaking till late in life. I started off as a musician and songwriter. But somewhere in the back of my head, I guess I always knew I was going to write screenplays. All my screenplays and teleplays have placed in multiple competitions, especially "Big Sister," which has made a lot of headway and is now at the production company of an A-list actress, thanks to Stage 32. It doesn't mean she's going to produce it, but at least it's on the table. I'm focused on dramas and dramedies, both for film and TV. My goal is to work at the top level of the industry and I've learned that if a screenplay is powerful enough, doors will open. Since Christmas I have soent most of my time writing on a feature based on real historical events. Just love this type of work!

Happy new year! In 2015 I directed a short comedy (50 minutes) for the first time. I have only directed drama till now. It gave me a new apetite - and I really would like to have a go on another. Main goal this year is to finish my third featurefilm which we shot in both Norwegian and English (casting was with actors who were bilingual) - and we will actually end up with two films since each has been edited separately. Its strange hos the edit turned different in English! We are soon finished with the last reel English version, but struggeling to get i down to 100 minutes... then its the postsynd and mix and then release!
