SYNOPSIS:

Meet Buckshot Savant a likable, hard-working redneck with a knack for finding trouble. Taunted by Maynard, his malicious and jealous co-worker, Buckshot blows up, storms off the job days before Christmas and goes home to sulk in his trailer park haven where he lives with his lovable but goofy brother, Ernie. Nothing bucks up a redneck more than shooting at eggnog cartons in a trailer park back yard.

BANG! A bullet fired by Buckshot goes array and a primal scream echoes from the nearby frosty forest. Buckshot and Ernie rush into the forest and find a Bigfoot – dead. After a comical back and forth about what to do, the hapless duo decide to call the local ( extremely unprofessional) sheriff.

Sheriff Magnum, with a gun bigger than his brain, shows up. He confirms the scene, spouts off nonsense about bad luck happening when a Bigfoot is killed during mating season and hightails it out of there, leaving the task of dealing with the creature to the two dimwit brothers.

As the brothers decide what's next, a blue spirit abruptly shoots out, twirls around and zips right up Buckshot's butt! After an hilarious effort to get it out, with no such luck, the brothers decide to head for the safety of their favorite watering hole, Velma's Chicken Slap. What a better way to get over the jitters than with some finger lickin' good chicken and the company of a redneck beauty, Katie Buckshot's love interest.

Things take a turn for the worse when, smack in the middle the redneck's version of wooing, Buckshot goes stiff – all over. The blue spirit shoots from Buckshot's butt, engulfs Katie and disappears with her in a puff of smoke.

Now with Katie in the spirit world, Buckshot's back is against the wall, so to speak, he must assemble a misfit search and rescue team lead by the local infamous cryptozoologist “Crazy Larry”, who happens to be Maynard's uncle.

After Crazy Larry explanation of the blue spirit and a fascinating connection linking Buckshot, Ernie, Crazy Larry and Maynard's heritage, Buckshot is told he has been chosen to host the spirit as a beacon too attract the other Bigfoot in trade for Katie but he's only got till midnight Christmas Eve according to old Indian folk lore.

It's all hands on deck, as the misfit team of bumbling Bigfoot hunters gather supplies and Ghostbuster style equipment, setting off for an adventure of a life time. As the group travels through mountain snowscape roads lined with tall glorious pine trees the frequent pee-stops become amusing.

Upon arrival of a secret property known only to Crazy Larry the group is informed of the last known encounter of the creature prior to the trailer park incident. Now with the search in full swing all seems to be going fine. But, as the story twists, Buckshot finds out Maynard and Crazy Larry have hidden motives and agendas involving a diamond-tree-ornament called “The First Noel” in which their ancestors were transporting in 1811 on a secret mission between Canada and the United States! Soon after this an altercation resulting in a heated paranormal gun fight breaks out (aided by the blue spirit). Shorty after, Buckshot, Ernie and the Sheriff make contact with the legendary Bigfoot mate.

In an extraordinary gesture of trust the large hairy creature shows our three friends to a spectacular cliff with a long steep drop, separated by a strong raging river below and an old mine-shaft tucked away in thick snow covered brush near the river bank on the opposite side. In a “awh moment” of spectacular natural beauty and surreal splendor sharing a moment with the remarkable beast, Sheriff Magnum slips and falls off the cliff! In a panic the sheriff reaches out and grabs the legendary creatures wiener stretching it out in a comical life and death moment! Ernie reaches out to help and stumbles falling on to the sheriff hanging on for dear life also! The weight of both men stretching Bigfoot's shall we say, pertinents make the creature scream in fear and pain causing him too become week. Buckshot is stricken with fear as the creature and his two comrades fall off the cliff!

Now, Buckshot is all alone. He must make a decision. Accept his failure or continue to find Katie. Buckshot is forced to come face-to-face with his life-long short-coming: his fear of failure, anchored on a lack of self-confidence. In a moment of reassurance from a memory of his parents our “Trailerhoodhero.” decides to continue.

Crossing the river is harder than it looks! With a series of memories as reassurance Buckshot battles his fears. Just as things seem to be going okay an object in the icy water strikes without warning knocking him unconscious.

Buckshot wakes on the riverbank, groggy two familiar people aide him. It's Ernie and Sheriff Magnum! In a warm reunion the three amigos share some love and tears. Now that things are back on track, it's time to get serious about finding Katie. The fellas locate the old mine-shaft and answer the call for help from Katie's weak voice.

In an attempt to rescue Katie, Maynard and Crazy Larry reunite with the group to spoil the game plan. Bigfoot makes a come back, tossing a wrench in Maynard & Crazy Larry's intent to snag the lost diamond while Buckshot saves Katie and must make another hard life and death decision, save the new found baby Bigfoot or the diamond from a fire started by a candle! Realizing he is in over his head, Buckshot ask God for help, immediately the blue spirit aides in the rescue. As the final climax approaches a massive explosion caused by old dynamite ignites the scene!

Later, New Year's Eve, Buckshot and the gang reunite at a tailgate bonfire party hosted by Mayor York, complete with a live classic, rock band in their honor!
