SYNOPSIS:

This period drama is based on the real-life adventures of Grace O’Malley, the legendary 16 th century Irish pirate. To stay alive, she and her loyal crew of bandits and underdogs, including her new young protégée Maeve, must fend off the invading English who are trying to destroy them. Thanks to Grace’s violent temper, thirst for power and distracting on-again/off-again romance with her ex-husband Richard Bourke, they just might succeed.
