Jermaine Shoulders: Screenwriter in Phoenix, Arizona.

Introducing myself...I'm Jermaine A. Shoulders, Owner of Mosaic Entertainment Group an independent webseries/film/theater production company based in Phoenix, Arizona. At this point in time, I am a one man show, but I hope to find like minded people who want to see to stories that involve more than the cookie cutter brands out there. I hope to contribute my voice to the great community of content creators/producers. I'm looking to eventually build a small staff of scriptwriters who want to create half-hour comedies/dramadies as well as "one hour" dramas that are fresh with interesting and DIVERSE characters and rivals pretty much everything we see out there on the major networks and cable outlets. A lofty goal for sure, but more than doable. I have been writing for many years and have had a few meetings with producers and one production company (Searchlight). Now I'm here in Phoenix with my wife and children and hoping to get something going from the ground up with like minded people who want to pump out great work and help me build my production company to be a major player in the indie realm.

All my Phoenix peoples! CASTING CALL for the PILOT episode for my new webseries called "Learning Laron" . It's the story about a young man who lost his mom to illness and lost his father to despair. Because his father never got over his wife's death, he abandoned his young son and left him in the care of his younger sister. Now as an adult, Laron is dealing with his abandonment in self destructive ways. Will he be able to move on? Will he able to move this life in more constructive ways and raise his son in ways his father never did? Roles: 1. Vanessa (late 20's African American) - Laron's ex-girl friend and the mother of their young son. Boss lady type, but all heart. 2. Willie (late 20's African American) - Laron's nerdy co-worker 3. Mary (late 20's African American/Latina) Laron's other weird co-worker 4. Janae Winslow (late 20's African American) Laron's lover since college. She is a successful young executive who is more than comfortable with casual relations as having a relationship, or her family is far from this career minded girl's mind 5. The Homies - (late 20's, early 30's) - Laron's circle of friends from college: 1. James Todd, the jokester of the crew is a young attorney just getting started with his career 2. (Spider) Mike Combs, young architect and rising star at his firm 3. Robert (Boobie) Wright, the dreamer. He is an entrepreneur 4. Fletcher (Fletch) Givens, former male whore and now married with children, is a bank exec 5. Keith (Keetie) Reynolds, former basketball and football star is now a sports therapist at the same university they all graduate from Message me for details!
