The Girl In the Basement follows an 8-year-old boy who wakes one night in his small town home to the laughter of children coming through the furnace grate.  He sneaks over to the basement door where he spies children playing below.  A girl named Daisy meets his eyes. Who is she? And why does she want him to come downstairs to play?
