SYNOPSIS:

The patriarch of the Wang family is Lucy, serious and volatile yet retains common sense throughout any crisis mode that her white American husband Ben continually creates chaos. Daughter Kathy is the perfect ABC (American Born Chinese) girl that serves as the calm referee between her parents while seeking her own future. The all Asian women ensemble lead cast reveals the family's inner struggles and hopes for sharing in the American Dream. The culture clash comes into play with miscommunications between the family and their spoiled clients who come off as bratty odd balls and serve as the comic foils for the entire family.
