SYNOPSIS:

The movie starts with a warning video from Judas Godfrey Dystar, the leader of a religious cult called “The Holiains”. He talks about “The Revelation”, an apocalyptic event at the hands of God, which will occur on May 20, 2050 at 4:00PM. He also said that a “Chosen One of Innocence” will be left on Earth and will guide other innocent people into Heaven. After the video warning, Satan approaches God and asks for full control of destroying the world while God brings the innocent into Heaven with a promise to bring more peace into Heaven and it’s people. God reluctantly accepts Satan’s proposal. The protagonist, Joseph Stevenson, wakes up for a new day of misery. He is abused by his parents and bullied in high school. His best friend is Matt Zilhowski, a socialite who counsels him over his many miseries. Later in the night, he goes to bed to have a nightmare about an event that happened a year ago where he witnesses his African-American uncle named Jeeves Cornell being arrested for stealing a diamond necklace and is sentenced to prison for a year. After serving six months of that sentence, he dies of a heart attack. Throughout the next day, Joseph discovers some signs and notes written for him while receiving more counseling from Matt and his Science teacher named Mr. Jankins. The last note tells Joseph tells him to go to the boy’s bathroom. When he goes there, he discovers his Uncle Jeeves, who is back from the dead and reveals to have escaped from Hell with fiery powers. He shows Joseph not only that The Revelation is happening in less than 24 hours, but also the truth of what has happened to him and who Joseph really is. Uncle Jeeves was framed by Joseph’s parents for stealing the diamond necklace because they are racist, they hate him, and he married Joseph’s aunt. After his death, Satan orders God to send Uncle Jeeves to Hell, despite his innocence, or Satan will attack Heaven. God does so. After that discovery, Uncle Jeeves shows Joseph a bigger truth. His parents aren’t his “real” parents. His “real” parents are from Heaven. His father, Theilonus, is the leader of Heaven’s Guardians and “The Symbol of Freedom”. His mother, Celine, is Theilonus’ wife and “The Symbol of Peace”. Their son, Joseph, is “The Symbol of Hope”. When Satan discovers the birth of Joseph, he and his demonic creatures attack Heaven. He orders God and Theilonus to have Joseph sent to live as a mortal on Earth or have Joseph in Hell for eternity. Theilonus leaves Joseph in front of the Stevenson’s house where he didn’t realize that he made the mistake of leaving his son with an abusive couple until Joseph was first abused. Uncle Jeeves brings Joseph back to the bathroom and tells him to survive and he disappears. Joseph faints and lays there overnight. When he wakes up, he hears his uncle and has a cross carved on Joseph’s chest and tells him that he is “The Chosen One of Innocence”. When Joseph’s bully named Dash Vanveen comes in and insults him, Joseph angrily beats Dash as retaliation and leaves the school. Joseph encounters Matt and tries to warn him, but Matt doesn’t believe him. The Revelation begins as people poof from their clothes to ascend into Heaven, meteors from the sky attack Earth, and buildings fall apart. Joseph rushes home to see his house on fire and encounters his “father”. Uncle Jeeves joins him and after hearing Joseph’s “mother” scream, Uncle Jeeves blows fire from one of his hands at Joseph’s “father” and he is killed by a demon. Uncle Jeeves stops the demon from attacking Joseph, orders him to leave the house, and blows it up with his powers. Joseph falls into a creek and the same demon is about to attack him until it sees him in the creek. The demon runs off and Joseph faints again for a few hours. Uncle Jeeves wakes him up the next day and tells him of his destiny: To reach “The Mountain of Heaven” with those close to him and that the only weapon to kill demons is a sword called “Heaven’s Fury”, which is located on another mountain. As they begin their quest, they rescue Matt and escape from the demons and snakes in Matt’s house. They find an abandoned church and discover The Holiains living in it. After getting to know each other, Joseph falls in love with Judas’ niece named Ansaya Rose. Joseph learns what happened to The Holiains when The Revelation began. They too were left behind, attacked by the Four Horsemen, and both the reverend and Ansaya’s father were killed. They have been hiding in the church since and even let Mr. Jankins stay with them after they found him. Joseph finally possesses “Heaven’s Fury” and some powerful crystals. As the group continues their quest to “The Mountain of Heaven” on foot and on a helicopter, they encounter some obstacles including demons and snakes. When they make it to the Rome Coliseum, the group receives a hero’s welcome and Joseph bumps into Dash, who is revealed to be Ansaya’s ex-boyfriend. After Dash insults Uncle Jeeves, he grabs onto his arm and burns it. A dragon called The Sapphire attacks everyone, killing many including Dash while soldiers step in and risk their lives to let Joseph continue his quest. After killing The Sapphire, a flood made by rain and Satan follows Joseph and his friends. The Four Horsemen then destroy their helicopter. After nearly drowning, they continue their travels on The Conquest Ship, a ship secretly made by Uncle Jeeves during his time in Hell. During their voyage, The Kraken attacks them and is eventually killed by Joseph. The ship is destroyed with the only way left to travel is on a lifeboat until land. The Four Horsemen attack again with Matt, Judas, Ansaya, Mr. Jankins, and the rest of The Holiains killed while Joseph and Uncle Jeeves are spared on land. A distraught Joseph begins to give up until Uncle Jeeves encourages him to move on. The Four Horsemen return to kill them, but Joseph defeats them with a combination of Heaven’s Fury and the only crystal that can kill them. Joseph finally meets Theilonus. He tells Joseph that those close to him who were killed are currently in Limbo as they will remain there until Joseph’s fate is sealed. Heaven’s Guardians will finally help Joseph fight back. After an epic fight where Joseph, Uncle Jeeves, Theilonus, and Heaven’s Guardians battle against demons and snakes, Theilonus and Heaven’s Guardians leave Joseph and Uncle Jeeves to enter “The Mountain of Heaven” themselves. Once there, Satan tries to destroy it as both Joseph and Uncle Jeeves try to beat Satan for the mountain. Satan overpowers Uncle Jeeves, but Joseph uses a combination of Heaven’s Fury and a powerful crystal to weaken him. Joseph stabs the mountain to destroy it and his soul is lifted up. Satan and his demons yell in anger and frustration, knowing that they can never harm Joseph and those close to him again. Joseph wakes up in Heaven with God by his side. After the gates of Heaven open, Joseph is hugely welcomed by everyone in Heaven, including those innocent killed during the quest and Uncle Jeeves whose fiery powers are now blue. After everybody leaves Joseph behind for him to catch up to God’s castle to celebrate, Ansaya sees him. After Joseph sheds some tears of joy, Ansaya kisses him. Joseph’s final narration states that he is home. THE END!
