I'm mainly an Actor, but I ground myself in being as well rounded as I possibly can be. I'm a director, producer, journalist, activist, etc...I try to learn as much as I can so that I can help those around me pursue their dreams as much as I try to pursue my own. My main focus is not only my acting, but also my screenwriting. I have started working very extensively the past year on my screenwriting and tackling issues that I am passionate about. I showcase my voice through powerful narratives that tackle provocative and contemporary modes of thoughts and issues that are prevalent in modern day society. My screenwriting is a way that I perform my activism by focusing on very complex, diverse, and thought-out characters that live in extremely nuanced worlds that are plagued by the conditions of our humanity. My hopes is to spark discussions on some issues that have become invisibilized by the media and film, or exploited to the point that the voices shown are not real. My goal is to create these worlds, whether through my acting or screenwriting, that challenges the current status quo of the industry. I'm not here to make films that whitewashes narratives and perpetuates shallow forms of filmmaking. People would rather sell out their ideas or beliefs because of the convention that they're being "commercial" (which has resulted in creating the norm that "commercial" defeats quality). As an actor, I tackle any forms of characters from any story or world as long as the writing provides a rich world for the character. As a screenwriter, I try to write and challenge myself in all mediums. I write drama, comedy, thrillers (mostly psychological), period pieces, and horror (mostly psychological, as well). For both film and television. I don't really do romantic comedies. I've never been a fan of them from a writer's perspective. I don't do science fiction, either. Maybe in the future I will, but it has never really appealed to me. However, my favorite show right now is the 100 which does fall under that category. So, I'm open to write and delve into that world. I just haven't thought of an idea that excites me enough to start writing. But, yeah....that's a few things about me!!! Message me and let me know if you want to collaborate or just talk about stuff and get to know each other!!!

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB
