SYNOPSIS:

Jason and Ava have been surviving the zombie apocalypse for two years when they discover a walled community in the middle of the desert. Phoenix River was designed to hold up against many possible scenarios and numerous eclectic characters show up and begin a new life. Television cook show hostess Martha has set herself up as Mayor of the community but that power is challenged when State Senator Harrison shows up. Jason and Ava meet many of the other survivors, including their new neighbor Caprice, and decide to have a barbeque to bring people together. As people try to return to normal, danger lurks below, in the desert, and the hearts and souls of many survivors. Will the community be able to reform what use to be. Will there ever be ice again.
