SYNOPSIS:

A white girl and an Asian man, Danielle and Nik, keep messing up their relationship. After Nik’s reluctance to commit, Danielle ends it and they each see other people, but the spark’s missing. When Danielle gets engaged, Nik realises he loves her and they begin an affair. Unfortunately mixed signals, fear and confusion come into play. Danielle breaks off her engagement, but Nik has already decided he can’t risk being hurt again and ends the affair with her. Despite, and sometimes because of, the input from their friends and family along the way, Danielle and Nik seemed doomed to forever be each others ‘one that got away’.
